Hello

There’s something I’ve noticed over the years, a little phenomenon that happens almost every time I step into a wedding. I’ll meet someone - a bridesmaid, the groom’s mother, an old friend - and there’s this instant sense of familiarity. Like I know them already.

Sometimes, I even ask, “Have we met before?” But as the day unfolds, I realise we haven’t. And yet, that feeling lingers - uncanny, as if our paths had crossed before.

For a long time, I wondered why. Was it just instinct? A kind of premonition? But lately, I’ve started to see it differently. When that feeling arises, it’s not about the past - it’s about what’s about to happen. By the end of the day, I will know them, just as fully as I sense in that first moment.

Weddings have this unique way of revealing people - not just in the grand, emotional moments, but in the quiet ones too. You see the layers of history, the depth of relationships, the way love has shaped a person. And in those moments, everything feels real, unfiltered, and true.

I think that’s why this sense of connection matters. It’s not just about taking beautiful photos - it’s about seeing people fully, as they celebrate something so deeply personal. And that, to me, is a beautiful thing.

Me & your day

I photographed my first wedding in 2011, for a friend. What started as just a few weddings here and there gradually became the most fulfilling and rewarding job. And for that, I’m endlessly grateful - especially to my incredible couples, who make working in this field feel nothing like an ‘industry’ at all.

For me, weddings are never just events - they are real life unfolding in its most honest and meaningful moments. I get to witness the raw, beautiful, and deeply human experiences that shape a couple, a family, a life. And I never take for granted the trust it takes to invite someone into those spaces.

This is your day, and I’m here to capture it in a way that feels true to you - so that when you look back, the images don’t just tell a story; they feel like you. It’s an honour to be the one holding the camera for that.

I know how overwhelming planning a wedding can feel. If you’re wondering where to start, take a moment to browse through my FAQs, or reach out anytime. I’d love to help make at least this part of the journey feel a little clearer, so you know exactly what to expect when it comes to your photography.
