.WHO/About ONA.

There's something I've noticed over the years — a phenomenon that happens almost every time I step into a wedding. I'll meet someone, a bridesmaid, the groom's mother, an old friend, and there's an instant sense of familiarity. Like I know them already. Sometimes I even ask, "Have we already met?" But as the day unfolds, I realise we haven't. And yet that feeling lingers, as if our paths had crossed before.

For a long time, I wondered why. Was it instinct or a kind of premonition? With experience, I see it differently. When that feeling arises, it's not about the past — it's about what's about to happen. By the end of the day, I will know them, just as fully as I sensed in that first moment.

It's a feeling I've come to trust, and perhaps that's why weddings have never felt like photographing strangers.

What began as a deep interest in portraiture, fine art and design grew into a 15-year career across weddings, editorial, portrait and commercial work. I'm an exhibiting artist and a Professional Member of the Image Makers Association Australia, with qualifications in Commercial Photography, Web Design, Entrepreneurship and Business Operations. I bring this range to how I work at weddings, and I’d love to find out if we’re a good fit.
