.FAQ/QUESTIONS

I know how overwhelming planning a wedding can feel. If you’re wondering where to start, take a moment to browse through my FAQs, or reach out anytime. I’d love to help make at least this part of the journey feel a little clearer, so you know exactly what to expect when it comes to your photography.

  • My couples tend to be design-conscious professionals - all kinds: artists, doctors, lawyers, architects, designers, creatives, entrepreneurs - the common thread is a preference for imagery that feels timeless, authentic and considered rather than formulaic, and that reflects who they are. If you'd rather trust the process than have me direct every shot, we'll probably work well together.

  • Most full days fall somewhere between 8 and 10 hours — from getting ready through to the dancefloor opening. Rather than working to a clock, I prefer to work with you during planning to understand what your day actually needs, and I'll be there for as long as it needs. For days running over 10 hours, I'll often recommend adding a second photographer.

  • I love intimate nuptials and elopements. Reach out to see my special rates for smaller wedding days.

  • I love it when clients seek advice with their timeline. This enables me to get the very best out of my coverage of your wedding day, ensuring you get your money’s worth, and the day runs smoothly. There’s a few key times of day, and aspect of the timeline that are helpful to discuss prior to setting your times with your venue and caterers, and I’m super happy to help you with this. In fact I now send out a really good guide that helps out with sample timelines that work with each season, after couples have booked in.

  • Depending on where your wedding is, usually not. Within a few hours of the Blue Mountains/Sydney I don’t charge a fee. Because I have connections/family/friends in several states, I find travel fees to the areas in the Eastern states minimal, and occasionally not any extra at all. If I do need to book overnight accommodation I ask couples to cover the cost of something modest.

For interstate weddings airfares may be a consideration. I provide a custom quote for interstate and overseas destination weddings - depending on the details of the wedding. I’ll always try my hardest to keep any travel fees to an absolute minimum.

  • I almost always shoot alone, so am confident in assuring couples that I can capture everything needed and more. For large weddings of 120-150+, or affairs that might be long or have a lot going on, eg numerous locations - I may recommend a second photographer in order to make sure the day is adequately covered.

  • There are no set rules, but I find anywhere from 50-100 images per hour is a good general guide.

  • I provide beautiful modern wedding albums that are reminiscent of a hefty art book. They are museum grade, archival quality heirlooms to treasure. You can find out more HERE.

  • If you think we’d make a good fit then drop me a line via the contact form below, I’ll reply with my availability within 48 hours. I take $1500 to secure the date, with the balance due any time up to a month before the wedding. These payments can be scheduled for easy management.
